Andy played for Plan B upon the release of his hugely successful album, ‘The Defamation Of Strickland Banks’ and has played at a host of well-known venues and festivals including Glastonbury, Royal Festival Hall, Radio 1’s Big Weekend and Camden’s Roundhouse. He has also played on a number of TV shows including Later Live with Jools Holland and Alan Carr’s ‘Chatty Man’. Andy and his brother Alek are seen as Russian gangsters in Plan B's directorial debut 'ill Manors'.
Andy first started to work as a professional session musician and night club saxophonist whilst studying for his music degree at Birmingham Conservatoire. By 2006 he had truly established himself on the international club scene. He has since performed with the likes of Judge Jules, Danny Howard, Kissy Sell Out, Grant Nelson, Graeme Park, Danny Rampling, Leroy Styles, Marshall Jefferson, Seamus Haji, Hoxton Whores, Jeremy Healy, CJ Mackintosh, Seb Fontaine, Norman Jay, Carnao Beats, Brandon Block, Alex P and was one of the original Hed Kandi resident performers in the early 00’s.
Andy is now firmly back on the club scene whilst dedicating the rest of his time on developing his own up and coming projects. Andy is a member and co-founder of a new up and coming reggae band called 1EYE who are excited to announce the forthcoming release of their debut album 'Worries & Trouble' in spring 2016. 1EYE are blessed to have recorded with UK reggae legends Tippa Irie, Michael Grant from Musical Youth and Apache Indian.
Taking inspiration from artists such as Prince Buster, John Holt and UB40, 1EYE have produced an infectious sound that immediately engages and excites their audience. 1EYE adopted a classic approach to writing Worries & Trouble that discusses the comical side of everyday life, political issues and bittersweet heartbreak. The album is set to be a modern classic that people can connect with on every level. 1EYE have a retro a sound that embraces reggae, ska and dub.
1EYE’s debut single ‘Mr Bailiff’ has been included on the soundtrack for ‘The Hooligan Factory’, a 2014 UK film spoofing football hooligans. Watch the music video here.

Andy is also a member and co-founder of Del Camino. Inspired by the explosion of the UK Latin scene in the mid 1990's, Del Camino soon established itself as one of the most well-known and respected salsa bands in the UK. Del Camino has performed at a host of well-known venues including Ronnie Scott's, Symphony Hall in Birmingham, The Lowry in Manchester and The Wardrobe in Leeds. Del Camino has also performed at a number of festivals including Glastonbury 2010, The World Beat Festival, Orange WOW Festival and Party In The Park.
Del Camino has recently restructured its line-up, which now includes Felix Casañas, a celebrated vocalist from Havana, Cuba. A sizzling new formula has been developed between Felix and Alek Sapic, the band’s original lead vocalist and co-founder. Del Camino has a brand new salsa sound which boasts slick arrangements of pop classics from the likes of Justin Timberlake, Stevie Wonder and Lionel Richie. The band continues to perform an impressive repertoire of well-known salsa classics from the likes of Hector Lavoe, Oscar D'León and Buena Vista Social Club.
Del Camino has supported some of the most respected names in the business including Robert Plant, Beverley Knight, Tony Christie, Roachford and more recently Plan B. Del Camino continues to maintain their longstanding popular monthly residency in conjunction with LatinMotion at the Jam House in Birmingham on the last Thursday of every month.
